What was your favorite part or moment of your wedding day?

Bride: My favorite sentimental part of the day was my first look with Zach. Zach had endured way too many episodes of “Say Yes to the Dress” leading up to this moment, and his reaction was everything. My other favorite part was the entire reception. The band was amazing, the food was awesome, and everyone was truly having a great time!

Groom: The band was one of my favorite parts! They were very good at getting our guests engaged right away and it really felt like an amazing celebration the whole way through.

What are you looking forward to about your future together?

Bride: Zach and I were in five year long distance relationship before getting married. So, what I am looking forward to the most is simply being able to come home to him at the end of the day. I hope I never take that for granted.

Groom: I am looking forward to us moving on in our lives together as team. We have a lot of exciting stuff ahead of us and I can’t wait to take on life with her by my side.

If you could give one piece of advice to a future bride or groom, what would it be?

Bride: My advice is twofold. First, identify the things early on that really matter to you, and focus on those things. Lots of people are going to have opinions and are going to want to help, but as long as you feel in control of those few really important things that matter to you, letting go and letting other people help you out will be much easier. Second, if your are having a big wedding, hire a wedding planner. On the day of, it was stressful not to have a point person who I could trust was going to take care of any small problem that might occur. Fortunately, my family really helped me so that I could just enjoy the day when problems arrived, but I wish they could of relaxed as well!

Groom: I would tell future couples to just focus on what matters to you during that day and let everything else go. Really be in the moment and enjoy yourselves!

Are there any specific photos you can't wait to see?

Bride: Any photo with my veil haha. I am also excited to see the photos that were taken in the bridal suite and with Zach.

Groom: I can’t wait to see all of the photos!

Kirsten Wray

What did you enjoy most about having Kirsten Wray Photography as your wedding photographer?

Bride: Kirsten Wray was a vendor I did not have to worry about. She was on top of everything every step of the way, and I knew that I could just trust her to do a great job which really meant a lot. Also, she is really fun to be around!

Groom: Kirsten’s personality is awesome. She was so bubbly throughout the whole day which really helped take the stress out of talking wedding photos.
