The first wedding of 2017 was certainly a surprising one! Who would have thought it would be 60 degrees and sunny in the middle of January? Not only that, but Courtney's mother, Peggy, had surprise after surprise in store for her beautiful daughter throughout the day. It began after hair and makeup with a surprise limo ride to the ceremony venue!
Later, a trumpet sounded as the bride entered the ceremony--another sweet surprise from her mom!
We had so much fun kicking off 2017 with Courtney & Zach! Here's what they had to say about their experience:
Leading up to the big day, what were you most excited for? Nervous about?
Courtney- I was most excited for the day to finally be here! I just wanted to be married! I wasn't really nervous, mostly excited and anxious.
Zach- I was most excited to finally marry my best friend. I was nervous about being too emotional.
What was your favorite part or moment of your wedding day?
Courtney- Walking down the aisle and seeing Zach's reaction. I also loved the very end of the reception. Zach and I were in the middle of a circle of family and friends with everyone singing and dancing along to "Friends in Low Places" by Garth Brooks. We kissed and everyone cheered!
Zach- Seeing Courtney for the first time walking down the aisle
What are you looking forward to about your future together?
Courtney & Zach- Starting a family!
If you could give one piece of advice to a future bride or groom, what would it be?
Courtney- Enjoy your wedding planning! It goes by so fast. Letting little things bother you will roll over to your wedding day and you will be super stressed. It is so much more enjoyable for you and everyone when you aren't a "Bridezilla!"
Zach- Don't stress and worry during the wedding planning process, it will all get done and it'll be perfect.
Thanks again, Courtney & Zach!
