What was your favorite part or moment of your wedding day?
Michael: Seeing Magy in the morning before the wedding. I was very excited to see my wife to be in her wedding dress.
Magy: I would also agree, seeing Michael in his tux was a special moment. There was so much chaos that morning with trying to get everyone ready in time and last minute details. Seeing him all dressed and ready to head to the IMA for our photos was the moment I really knew that all the stress was over and it was finally time to enjoy the day and all that was yet to come.
What are you looking forward to about your future together?
Michael: Being able to share the ups and downs of life with the woman I love.
Magy: I look forward to being able to spend more time together. As students, it's often hard to find the time (especially during the week) to spend together. Now that we are married and live together I look forward to the little things like making dinner together and talking about our day.
If you could give one piece of advice to a future bride or groom, what would it be?
Michael: Try to take in each moment of the wedding day because it happens so fast. It's over before you know it.
Magy: I agree it all happended so fast. I would also add that a wedding planner would be worth the investment. The planning process was especially stressful for me. With a low budget and an opinionated family, I wish I could have saved myself the time and energy and just hired a planner.
Are there any specific photos you can't wait to see?
Michael: First look, us being lifted up on chairs during the reception.
Magy: Cake cutting, First dance, and walking down the aisle with my dad.
What did you enjoy most about having Kirsten Wray Photography as your wedding photographer?
Kirsten was such an amazing photographer. She has such a great energy and really knows what she is doing. My husband and I are not the most photogenic people but Kirsten gave us great direction and knew exactly where to go in the IMA for the best photos. Also during the reception, her team (Kaylie Llewellyn and Kyla Jo Tighe) were amazing. They took lots of photos of our guests, but also made sure to ask me if there were any specific photos I wanted before they left at the end of the evening. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer.
