What was your favorite part or moment of your wedding day?
My favorite part of our wedding was writing our own vows. I was nervous and excited. We spent time together leading up to the wedding working on our vows together. It made it really special to have that time to step away from the craziness of wedding planning and talk and discuss what our vows truly meant to us and what that day was all about.
What are you looking forward to about your future together?
We are both looking forward to a lifetime together. We are excited to share our home with one another, start a family, take family vacations and to always have a best friend by our side through the good and the bad.
If you could give one piece of advice to a future bride or groom, what would it be?
Take time to enjoy one another through the wedding planning process. We planned our wedding on our own and budgeted it on our own. It was stressful and a lot of work, but those nights where we took time for ourselves meant the world. It is easy to get caught up in the to-do lists. Just enjoy it! It goes so fast!
Are there any specific photos you can't wait to see?
First touch photos and couple photos. We are looking for a photo to share with family and friends as a thank you as well as photos to displaly in our new home!
What did you enjoy most about having Kirsten Wray Photography as your wedding photographer?
She was so easy to work with! I usually get nervous and have no idea how to pose. She made sure everything looked perfect. At one point, I remember my hair was behind my ear and she stopped and asked me to fix it because she knew that I would not like it. I love that she took time to notice the little details.
