What was your favorite part or moment of your wedding day?

I had two favorite moments on my wedding day. The first was the first look at the Conrad on the top floor. It was a very intimate moment with just the two of us, the photographer and event planner. We had the beautiful Indy skyline behind us and it was just a perfect moment together! My other favorite part of the day was our first dance! It was the first time that it really hit me that we were married! I looked forward to that dance ever since I was a little girl and it couldn't have been more perfect!

What are you looking forward to about your future together?

For the future, I look forward to spending every day with my best friend and being able to experience everything together. I am excited for the everyday things and waking up next to him each morning. I can't wait to start a family together!

If you could give one piece of advice to a future bride or groom, what would it be?

My advice to future brides and grooms would be to stay calm and give yourself plenty of time to plan. We had been engaged for 16 months and it was the perfect amount of time to enjoy ourselves and have plenty of time to decide on vendors and all the small details. If you aren't stressed about the small stuff, then you are more easily able to enjoy the big day as well as the planning process!

Are there any specific photos you can't wait to see?

I can't wait to see the first look pictures!!! It was windy out on the patio, but I think those will be the coolest pictures! I also am excited to see the bridal party pictures from the canal and outside the Conrad. I love the candid shots, so I hope there are a lot of those.

What did you enjoy most about having Kirsten Wray Photography as your wedding photographer?

Kirsten was so easy to work with!! She was confident in her work which had me very at ease about everything. She reassured me we had plenty of time for everything and when we were rushed for time she didn't make me feel rushed at all. She was great with our families in getting everyone in the pictures. She has that list of family pictures memorized and that is so nice! She's just on it!
