My photographs are a reaction to the visual culture of advertising and fashion. I feel an image should provoke a feeling; it should inspire or trigger something very deep within the observer, even if it were simply something they would love to wear. I personally bring high energy and a fresh perspective to every assignment. From fashion to advertising and from location to studio portraits, from still photographs to color and black and white, I embrace the wide scope of ideas with passion and purpose.
I create an environment that makes people wonder when and where I took the picture. Whether it is a park in Indianapolis that resembles ancient Greece, or a large forest environment that portrays a jungle. I mold my models movement and style to interact with the environments they are in, but I also try to find or build an environment that emphasizes the product at hand.
My print work is carefully retouched picture by picture. A variety of settings that suggest a plot through the model's expressive gestures introduce an emotional complexity to my photography.
I continue to be fascinated with the world of fashion; from pictures to designers I am always involved. People inspire me to continue to my study in photography. They are my happiness, sadness and source of inspiration.
